We stepped into this restaurant / hotel because of the sunset on the balcony. already there we realized, that the waiters have been extremly well trained and smart. The price for rose wine was ok and we enjoyed the sunset at the best place in town. Once dark we decied to have dinner in the restaurant and went down to... More

View is incredible, from the top of Gordes! Ideal for a romantic outdoor dinner at the sunset! Food is also very good and service 5-star, everybody is willing to delight you! Now want to stay at their hotel or try their other restaurant.

We couldn't stay at hotel as it was fully booked the same that their Michelin star Pierre Gagnaire restaurant. I regret not having booked couple weeks in advance. However La Citadelle Restaurant was no disappointment. Food as expected in a 5* Hotel, nicely served and with great choice of wines. The view magnificent, and the service amazing, our waiter (from... Stayed at the hotel. Ate at hotel restaurant first night -- food and service were excellent. Not heavy and extremely well prepared. Best meal in Gordes except Pierre Gagnaire (reviewed separately). Everything was just right. Not cheap, but fairly priced if you are staying at the hotel (everything is relative). Will review hotel separately but a great luxury hotel.

Overall quite ok , not meant for heavy eaters as main dish portions are relatively small. Good wine list. TIP - If at terrace make sure you apply lotion before as one of us got stung by a wasp.

We were staying in a house in Gorde, so we came to La Bastide several times. The food and service were excellent. Very good wine list as well. Sit outside as they have amazing views.

We had lunch on the terrace of the brasserie here. Delightful setting. The standard here is high ( priced accordingly) but worth what you pay. A slight delay in dessert but very professionally dealt with by offering coffee without us suggesting. Friendly staff but never exceeding limits. An enjoyable experience.

Spectacular views. Atmosphere is cordial French. Food was good but not great. I would definitely come back again! The bat area on the top level is a great place for afternoon drinks.

We arrived in Gordes and were struck by the beautiful setting of The La Bastide De Gordes Hotel. We were treated to a perfect lunch meal, superb wine (as recommended) and exceptional service. I recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner. And the outlook is a fantastic bonus!
