Visited one hot and humid summer night on a Concierges suggestion. Ambiance is average, great service, and dinner was good. The pizza and pasta was served piping hot and the wine selection was good.

We took a recommendation from a French guidebook, but it was really misleading. This was an overpriced and underwhelming restaurant. The plates were very skimpy for the price, and while we didn't find the food actually unpleasant (the only reason I didn't go for the 'terrible' category) there was nothing at all to recommend it. We chose from the menu... More

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise right by the exit of the metro. Pizza was very good, tasty tomato sauce and really good mozzarella on top of it (being italian i know what good cheese tastes like) and the aubergine parmigiana was delicious. Try the tarte tatin, you wont regret it. Only downside: a little overpriced (1 pizza costs around... More

We came here twice and, on both occasions, we felt we were eating where the locals ate. We loved it. It was so close to the Port and yet well away from all the usual tourist traps. There was a happy, busy atmosphere, the service was attentive, the food was good as were the wines. Highly recommended.

We loved this restaurant. Service was very friendly and warm. We saw the owner in the kitchen working hard even past 10pm. She was a very sweet lady. We shared royale pizza, the best I've had and the garlic pasta was amazing! Wine was great and fantastic value for your money! Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Simple, high-quality local food served by a lovely staff. Restaurant seems to be family-owned. Very modest exterior but the food is among the best in Marseille.

A wonderful Marseilles restaurant, and one of the few open on Sunday evening. I had the mushroom pizza, the crust was good, the sauce tasty and the cheese abondant. A good value as well. If you peek in the kitchen you can see the owner hovering over the grill, a special look into Marseille's history.

Ate here twice. Appears to be a family run restaurant. Wood fired oven turns out excellent pizza and roasted dishes. Good wine list, ample portions, fresh lovely salad. Good homemade appetizers and desserts. Fresh pineapple, cut to order, was also being served. Had shrimp on one visit. Shrimp were extra large with head and shell on. Once I got the... More
