Fantastic find in the valley withe the aiguille de midi on one side and Brevent on the other. Ideal location for the town centre, we had a room on the front which had a little noise from a nightclub across the road on Friday and Saturday, but the hotel went out of their way to get us some ears plugs!... We had a lovely lunch here. I had a terrine for an entree and steak chips and salad which was all great. My partner had duck and it to was perfect.

We enjoyed a fine meal here - beautifully cooked and excellent service. We had the entrecôte steak which was terrific. Indoor or outdoor eating, with the outdoor spaces offering shade from umbrellas. Our waiter (who was from Ireland) was excellent.

We had the pork ribs and the tartiflette- and actually mixed the two with excellent results. And the chocolate mousse was ridiculously good. Hope to return.

Possibly the best fondue we've ever had - we went for the 23 euro option with preserved meats as well as the usual cheese "dip" and were very glad we didn't order starters as well. Plenty of rich and delicious food after a long day on the mountains. Reasonably priced drinks and some interesting cocktails make it great for a... More

Had a very enjoyable meal at La Moraine under the canopy. Quality food and great friendly service made for a memorable meal and when we go back to Chamonix, we'll definitely be calling in.

We went to La Moraine twice during our one-week stay in Chamonix. Food is good, there are enough choices (also a couple of options for vegetarians), and if you take the set menu (which still has a few choices for each course), then it is also quite cheap. The tartiflette was definitely the best I had in Chamonix. Service is... More

We had a lovely evening meal here- the maple syrup glazed ribs were really great. The staff were very friendly and sitting outside under the awning was very pleasant.

This restaurant has a separated area for the bar and for the restaurant. We went there for dinner and chose the special of the day (3 courses for less than €20). Great food and lovely atmosphere. There was a mix of locals and tourists.
