Outstanding seasonal menu - duck ham tortellini in broth with a frozen tomato concasse; pollack with artichoke and octopus: and a superb cheese plate. Attentive service that indulged my poor French and provided a digestif of Genepi ‘on the house’. If I lived in Grenoble...More

Every dish was delish, and beautifully served. A standout was the sea bass with fresh chanterelles (giroles), basil puree, garnished with a cauliflower flan, roasted yellow pepper and new potatoes.

Really a great experience! My wife and I had dinner at La Girole to celebrate her birthday (It was a Thursday evening and the restaurant was very quiet) we really enjoyed our meal especially the mise en bouche: a courgette cappuccino with hazelnut whipped cream.

As the name suggests the restaurant is specialized in mushrooms and other local treats including lovely wine list. Mezzanine setup, looks ok and not very formal. Lovely service.
