Went here with friends having pre-booked it with the 'The Fork'. The welcome was good and we started with a lovely bottle of the local wine recommended by the proprietor. There appear to be only three tables inside, and more outside on the pavement. As with any bouchon the menu was small and meat dominated with predominantly Lyon specialities. Three... More

The owner was so lovely. She was the best at trying to explain everything. We decided to dine here ebcause of the evicts on trip advisor. It did not disappoint. The food here is absolutely the best in Lyon. Best steak and chips for sure!!! If there is a place you need to go to Lyon, go here!!!

A trio of us biked down the Rhone valley from Geneva and by the time we arrived in Lyon, we had a craving for french fries. This led us to A Ma Vigne, a small but well established family restaurant in Lyon. We trudged through the pouring rain in hope and what an amazing find! One of the son's met... More

Great welcome and staff... honestly, you feel good as you enter! Nice ambiance in this quite small restaurant, but with a great ambiance. Menu is small but only made with great products. It's more for meat lovers (Steaks & Andouillette Bobosse), but Salmon is available as well in different forms. Nice wines at reasonable prices... Enjoy the French fries as... More

Very nice small restaurant we discovered by chance in a rainy night. The service is excellent. There is not that much choice but the steak frites is the best I've ever had.

Watching old French movies, everything seemed so... right. Small neighbourhood restaurants with attention to detail, friendly staff & locals just dropping in for a sip of wine the size of an espresso cup (they call it a Macon). The proprietress was a reminder of how gracefully women can age (so properly dressed, so courteous). The menu is limited, and the... More

There are not enough good things I can say about this restaurant. It is a hidden gem, and eating there was an absolute treat. Patrick, the humble and generous chef, made my husband and I feel like guests of honour, taking the time to explain everything to us, checking to see if everything was good and even allowing me to... If you like steak and fries this small restaurant in Lyon is the place to go. The place is small but quite known. No fuss, just a decent bistro that serves delicious home made French fries.
