After a visit in Fourvière and Vieux Lyon, we popped in this bouchon. A lot of locals and french were already in so this was a good sign. Portions are very big so i would suggest to pick a menu if you are very hungry, otherwise only the main was enough for us. The staff is friendly.

I visited this restaurant for dinner with some of my French colleagues and it was a great experience. There were some great set menus to choose from with something for everyone. It has a nice, homey feel to it and was full of French locals which is always a good sign. Staff were polite and friendly but did struggle a... More

Despite it's location in the tourist hotspot of Vieux Lyon, this restaurant still manages to feel "local" and serves nicely prepared traditional dishes with a real "home cooked" vibe. We visited on a Monday night in January, so perhaps the restaurant was not at it's busiest, but we enjoyed prompt, friendly service in a very nice atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed... More

We were looking for a small, non-touristy restaurant when visiting Veille Lyon and were well pleased. I think we may have been the only non-locals. Menus feature local specialties and were only in French, but the waiter helped with English descriptions when needed. Food was wonderful and service great.

Ate here for the second time. Sat upstairs. Had the 17€ menu plus a pot of white wine. Salad Lyonase and Quenelles de Brochette. Very good quality. Wait staff exellent. Recommended.

After a morning hiking around the heights of lyon, we dropped in there for lunch. My wife had the daily special, a pork dish, and I had the boudin noir. This was very good and tasty, the onion soup, not so good. The wine by the picket was good and the service a bit ragged. Prices were very moderate.

After walking nearly 3 miles from our hotel to get to this restaurant in old Lyon... I think my review is probably a bit biased. Overall I found the food to be OK. I ordered the snail soufflé for my main course and I found it to be much spongier than I was expecting. The snails also had a very... More

Very disappointed to be honest as the restaurant has a high rating. The ambience upstairs may contribute to the rating as it looks lively when busy. The food wasn't as good as other meals that we had in Lyon & the steak was disappointing - we both odered medium rare but the cooking wasn't consistent - my steak was rare... More

I went with a group of colleagues and we all had the three course menu. I had gazpacho and duck. The gazpacho was perfect for a warm evening, the duck was perfectly prepared, very tender with lots of flavor. The desserts were fine but I'm not much into sweets. I suggest you skip dessert and go for nice sorbet to... More

This is a very busy restaurant, right in the heart of the Old Town. We both enjoyed the set lunch at €20: the Gaspacho was good, but please note that this word seems to be used in Lyon to describe any cold soup. A main course of duck was excellent, but the fish was a bit dry (slightly overcooked?). To... More
