My husband ordered pork, and it came burned almost beyond recognition and had the wrong sauce. When he asked about the sauce, he was told that the menu was wrong, and that the sauce he was served was the correct one, that the menu had not been corrected yet and so, too bad. By the time this discussion was over,... More

Nice, cosy restaurant. Visited in winter, nice atmosphere with a small but very nice fireplace. Tasty and satisfying food. Onion soup is superb. Cold meat and wine go very well together.

Aside the food, the service was goid, romantic atmosphere and decoration, local people eat here so i guess they enjoy the food. A small well done steak, simple salad, average lasagna, reasonable prices. Try to find a better place in the endless options of lyon.

I ended up at this place after trying to go somewhere else and then finding it was closed for 2 weeks. I then meandered through the old town realising that it was full of tourist restaurants. Yuk! This one also looked very touristy but it also looked popular which in my book is always a good sign. So I went... More

I had a dinner with friends here, so couldn't really choose the place and I was worried when I saw the reviews. The place is very charming, but it's definitely a tourist trap for people who are looking for typical food from Lyon. Sizes were poor, food was very average, service was slow and they only accept cash. I wouldn't... More

charming postcard place but definitely to be avoided. Food is terrible, poor cooking skills, no seasonning, no taste, no attention, dished out without any care on dirty plates. It's way over priced for the quality and experience. Pass your way fellow!

I went there twice: for lunch in October and for a dinner in May. Located in a nice little square seems to be a nice place. We admired dishes and service in October, so I took other visitors in May to dinner there. That was super-slow, the dishes were not all served at the same time (that's smth exceptional for... More

Shockingly bad place. From the rude manager greeting us with a question as to whether we had the means to pay for our meal to Maunel the waiter requiring two attempts to get our order. It's course arrived and was ok. Some of the second course arrived, incinerated lamb chops and frozen chips... Inedible... Sadly that's all we got. We... More

Went to A La Traboule. It is located on the middle of the tourist trap on the old town, but I like going here every time I'm in Lyon. Good food - had a typical tourist menu of Sallad lyonnaise, a beef and a tarte Praline. Very good !

Thank Jbiv
