The place was highly recommended to us, but the experience was disappointing. The service was terrible - the waiters barely spoke English and were busy and running all the time. When we were lucky to make them stop to our table, they were really tense and in a hurry, no explanations on the menu, no recommendations. Part of the food... More

If you like blue or red meat, go! For red wine, the one with the pitcher is a good compromise. You will hallucinate efficiency for payment when you are a group. A good example for other restaurants.

Never judge a book from its cover. The restaurant certainly looks modest, especially if you come early. But it becomes very crowded very quickly. The horse steak with mushrooms sauce was cooked to exactly my liking, thick cut & pink. Snails was great too. Very tasty naturally, bravo!

This is very famous place in the area. If you wants to eat meat it's good place to do it and it's quite an original place, in the past time was the place where they kill the cows. Anyone of the meats is ok . The dishes are generous and the price is a little expensive

Been there with friends. if you like meat, do not try it.... too big to be good. waiters are too busy to take care of you and be polite. Once you are done eating, you can wait for hours for the table to be clean and the waiter taking your dessert order. You could die without them noticing. Avoid this... More

No fabric table cloth, casual venue (borderline tacky)but wuth a huge meaty menu! Portions are huge and prices friendly, i strongly advise you to stop at Ninkasi for a good beer after.

A perfect vegetarian.........no wait, this place is for meat lovers only!!! Amazing cuts of meat, cooked perfectly and good side dishes and wine to match. Be aware, LED lights are super bright, decor is terrible and service ok most of the time, but the meat is epic!!

I've been to Lyon several times, and every time I've been in the city I've visited the Carnegie Hall as it's a favourite of my friend who is a local. Good food, good service. You know what you are going to get, beef and lots of it!

Thank Matt S
