I don't exactly remember the month but we went there on summer time. The chef welcomed us and talked with us which is always nice. We ate a scallop risotto to die for and the dessert...was dreamy...a panna cotta with fresh strawberries...DELICIOUS!!! Go there, the...More

Description
With its dramatic red and chocolate brown facade, you can't miss Le Canut sans Cervell on the rue Belfort in Lyon. This award-winning restaurant, famous for its traditional French cuisine, has a delightful patio that is popular for brunch, and a convivial dining room – decorated with sunny lemon walls, fresh flowers, brown leather banquettes and red tablecloths – that has a chic, laid-back vibe, and the staff are attentive and friendly. For a truly francophilic feast, we recommend the tomato and goats cheese tart; the duck breast cooked in honey and spices; and the calves' livers cooked with garlic and black olives. Le Canut sans Cervelle has an amazing French wine list to suit every palate and pocket.
