My first visit and strange to have an excellent very friendly waiter who was raised a mere 20 minutes from our home town in Hertfordshire. The food was good on a nouveau cuisine style, 3 of my party had the Angus steak and loved it. I thoroughly enjoyed the duck main dish. Very reasonably priced for this expensive and popular... More

We spent a week in Val d'Isere, and this was our favorite of all the restaurants we dined at. Interesting menu, combining local specialties with some other interesting and appealing options, warm ambiance and friendly service. Good value too. The duck was excellent, as were the vegetables and the kidney dish. Strongly recommend!

Strong focus on anchor local items. Fondue was excellent and s o was the fish of the day. Unpretentious but menu/ambience and staff are a statement on their own.

Excellent fast service. We ordered the special of the evening which was tuna. Lovely cozy restaurant. Friendly service. We found it a touch pricey and it would have been nice to have had more vegetables or a salad with the meal as the portions were small.

We wanted to finalize our ski week with a nice family dinner, trying regional especialites like raclettes and fondues. I read about this place, about the food and about the friendly service. As we were staying just in front of this restaurant, it was an obvious choice. And I must say, it was the right one too! Nice, comfortable, friendly... More

Great raclette and excellent choice of wine by the glass and Demi if you don't want a full bottle - house cocktail also wonderful. Service prompt, friendly and efficient and good value for the area.

The restaurant has all the classics of the cuisine savoyarde. However, we very strongly recommend the refined and creative version of the typical raclette, which Fred baptised as "fromageade". We will not spoil the surprise and will let you discover it in person... Moreover, Fred and his team provide an excellent and most kind service to their customers. We can... More

If you like cheese, this is your restaurant!! The staff were excellent and recommended a great wine for our meal. Make sure you go there hungry because the portions are large. Our fondu came with prepared meats and for the first time in a long while, we could not finish everything.

The restaurant, formerly known as "La Raclette" has definitely found his fine reputation with the new head Thomas Clement. It opens every evening (except Mondays) from 19:00 and welcomes you, whether you are hotel guests or not, in an authentic and warm atmosphere. On the menu, you can choose from homemade appetizers, selected meats, various fondues or course the famous "Raclette old" that made the reputation of the house: the squeegee is delicately browned under large ovens is served at the plate, as tradition requires. This is also the only place in Val d'Isere where you can eat this way.
For the younger ones (under 7 years), nothing beats our special "Children's menu" or even better, half-priced specialities adapted to children.
