We always make a bee line to this restaurant for lunch on the slopes for the last two years we have visited. Always good service, excellent food (especially the Pizza, how it should be, home made and non of that thick crust rubbish). Wine and drink excellent also, all in a fantastic location on the slopes. We'll be back !

My boyfriend slashed his tongue on a glass shard that was in his soup. His tongue needed three stitches and has not healed properly. The shard was from the broken sliding hatch door they pass the food through from the kitchen to the restaurant. On returning to the restaurant the next day to collect a note from the manager, we... Great location, great food and great service. Right on the slopes: park your skis and enjoy the good French standards. I was there every second day on my last tripand I was always impressed. The sun exposure and the view on the terasse are amazing. The daily specials and wine by the glass are worth every E. Merci Didier pour... More

We only discovered this place on our penultimate day of skiing. It was welcome respite from snow and fog. Ten of us had a great lunch. Pizzas were generous. Tartiflette delicious. All meals prepared fresh, which is a welcome change from croque monsiuers toasted from frozen. Service was great - one of the kids knocked over a full pint of... More

We ate twice here during our stay in VDI. Best reserve if you can but waiting on the terrasse drinking vin chaud for a table can be beneficial too. The decoration is really chalet style, nice fireplace too. The food is varied, freshly cooked and good value (slope prices). The burger is great!

A great mountain Restraunt where the food and service are fantastic. A cross between a quick stop and a proper dining experience the menu is changed to suit the weather. The beef cheek and polenta I had in December was probably the finest meal I have had in the Alps and the service whilst busy and frantic is always friendly... More

We stopped here on our last day and I wish we had stopped earlier so I could have gone back. It was such a lovely place. The views were lovely and it was warm and comfortable. Next year we will be back and probably try the food!

Late lunch during our ski holiday. Once again, really good salads, pizzas and service was friendly and welcoming. One of the more expensive restaurants on the mountain but quality of the food is worth it.

Loved this place. It is very popular so expect to stand in line for a while in case you haven't booked. Had pizza and a meringue & lemon pie for dessert - everything was superb. Great staff and service. Highly recommended.

This is one of my favourite restaurants on the piste in Val d'Isere and no visit would be complete without lunch here. Cold weather today meant the upstairs restaurant terrace was closed but it is the best place to sit and watch the world go by. The excellent food ranges from Savoyard specialities to Hamburgers and Pizza, from light salads... More
