We had the local ham followed by the trout with rosemary. Beautifully cooked - fresh, clean flavours and superb local wine to accompany it. Highly recommended.

Our project group decided for an informal meeting the evening prior to the project meeting, tomorrow. The local partner recommend this restaurant as an authentic local wine restaurant. It was definitively a good choice. Food was excellent and the ambient was very nice. I definitively...More

Typical and good local food. Especially the trouts from the Schwarzwald are delicious. Also you must taste the Spaetzle and ..... the local wine. Place to visit in Freiburg!
"Service" is hardly the word to describe the waitress' behavior: unfriendly, un-welcoming, almost rude. Food is ok, but not exceptional, if you compare with other restaurants of the same kind (we ate fish and poultry). They don't accept any kind of credit/debit cards.
