Had dinner with a friend here on a cold December evening. The place is authentic German atmosphere with great wood tables and lots of exposed beams. The menu has all the German classics and apparently changes with the seasons. I had the combo dinner with brat, liver dumpling and what they called a "cow's stomach", which is a cured meat... More

A weekend trip to Mannheim had its momentous peak in the Keller's Weinrestaurant. Liver dumpling soup, deer and hare with red cabbage and potato dumplings (interesting!) crowned the dinner. We must say that if wine selection was compact it was of high quality. We liked the service. Being not a German speaker it made a good impression that most of... More

We were looking for somewhere to eat on a Sunday night in Mannheim. A number of the TA recommended restaurants weren't open but Kellers Weinrestaurant was so we decided to go there despite it being a bit of a walk from where we were staying. The restaurant was clearly popular with the locals - there were a number of family... More

If you are in Mannheim during late Spring time, you must try the white asparagus with a side meat dish here! With the boiled spring potatoes and either port or beef dish, you can really get into the dish that is covered with a light yellow Hollandaise sauce and crisp white wine. Be care as the season is over by... More

A quaint German pub that served high quality food at very fair prices. The fillet steak was outstanding, teamed with a lovely glass of red wine. a lovely way to spend a cold Saturday. The only negative was that the smoking room was open to the rest of the pub so the whole restaurant smelt of smoke.

A bit off the beaten track but well worth the short walk to the north quadrant through a buzzing ethnic area, a gem of traditional German cooking, friendly service - and an excellent wine list, very good value for money too.

We just had a great family dining experience at Keller’s. The food was fantastic and the staff was wonderful. Our waitress, Simone, was friendly and helpful with the menu and drink choices – we loved everything about it!

Keller”s is a cosy stubli style restaurant tucked away in a quiet corner of the north quadrat. They sell traditional German/Pfalzish food. I had smoked salmon with a glass of prosecco to start followed by a delicious plate of sour kidneys chopped in a sauce and served with spatzle. My wife had the smoked salmon and rosti. Wine by the...
