We were a group of eight having dinner here on a week day, and the place was packed. There was little room between tables and very tight for the waiters to move around. But this is part of being in a historical buildings which was originally used as a prison and was part of the old city walls. The food... More

I came here with a group from work, and as it was summer, we sat outside. Typical of your German restaurants we started with beer and kept it coming. I found the food to be very tasty, and had a pork dish (with sauce; no surprise) and spaetzle. The food was very tasty, the service was adequate, and overall we... More

We were a group of 8 for a festive dinner. The setting is very unique. Usually, dinner is served inside the tower. On hot days, however, the tower is closed and people are instead seated outside. The "Zwiebelrostbraten" was cold and served with no sides. The menu's intention was to serve it with potato salad. However, as the salad was... More

We were a group of 9 for a business dinner in this Restaurant. Our table was in the upper floor. (no elevator) The food was good but the round table for all of us a bit tight, but OK that we could sit together. Local dishes available.

Some times really can understand ratings... It is about a restaurant located in a small traditional tower. Few tables around, an excellent waitress with great suggestions! Compared with other experiences in the city, for sure we would not miss the opportunity to revisit it!

The setting is unique as it is located within a tower that was part of the old city wall. Sometimes these type of places can be a bit of a 'tourist trap' but this was certainly not the case. The food was very good and not overly expensive. Worth a visit when in Stuttgart.

Went to Schellenturn to celebrate my birthday. Really enjoyed it! The restaurant is in an old Tower and has such a lovely and quaint atmosphere! Loved that I had to climb up the circular stairs to the top floor, where our table was. The food was amazing as well! I ate the grilled Forelle Trout, delicious! And my boyfriend had... More

Fascinating building, dating from the mid-nineteenth century (although the site goes back another 300 years). Very popular - we had to book a day in advance. Warm welcome, and we were seated on the 1st floor of the Tower, which is cosy and seats about 15 people. The upper floor is apparently larger and seats around 40. Much local -... More

I had 3 wine restaurants to pick from and relied on Trip Advisor that all 3 were equally good. I knew one of them from earlier but it was the farthest, so I settled on WS, in particular because it was a beautiful evening and there was a table free outside. the setting was charming and my waitress was pleasant...
