My family of six enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and desert pastries here. Service was great and prices were reasonable. Unfortunately it was raining and foggy so we could not enjoy the views. We recommend a visit here.

Took kaesespaetzle with a Bavarian beer, had some bad conscious after this heavy meal, but it was so delicious! Service good and price correct despite its success.

From the warm welcome from the staff to the views across the valley, an interesting menu and the classic trademark desserts, it's a pleasure to enjoy at reasonable prices away from the madding crowds at the Eagle's Nest or Konigsee.

On a nice sunny day we went for lunch at this Gasthaus. My wife had the Wiener schintzel, which was pretty decent. I had the Almteller, which included six small sausages, a portion of sauerkraut, tasteless and a Rosti swimming in fat. If I ever...More

Went there wanting to sample Windbeutel. Great coffee and cracking view, but somewhat disappointed by the windbeutel. Nice enough but didn't really do it for me. looks spectacular on the plate though! I would try it again.

It is a must if you are in Berchtesgaden BUT be careful they are closed over the winter time. I guess opening is around May until October. The windbeutelbaron is a local sweet speciality with a looot of whipped cream and cherries. Service is very...More

Description
Dear Guest,We are very happy to greet you here in our lovely home.Whether for lunch or afternoon coffee and cake , we wish you a relaxing visit as you enjoy our spectacular mountain views. Everything we have to offer is prepared using only the freshest of meats and vegetables. Our pastries and cakes are home made and prepared with locally harvested eggs and the finest ingredients. Even our "Windbeutel", for which we are famous, are baked fresh daily and prepared in a variety of ways. The recipe for this house specialty has been a well kept secret for over 40 years. The Windbeutel was originally created by a pastry chef from Berlin, who frequently vacationed here in our home. We hope you enjoy your time here with us and thank you for your visit. We are open 10 am to 6 pm every day, but Wednesday. Unfortunately, we don't offer dinner, but we would be glad to serve you lunch (from 11 am to 4 pm).Our restaurant is easy to find. Just follow the road signs up the hill to "Kehlstein" and exit the roundabout on the road that leads further up the hill. After another 3 minutes of driving, you'll see our sign, which says "Gasthaus Graflhöhe", on your right. We are happy, if you are.As the guests are the center of our acting, we and our staff are hosts for who kindliness and cordiality are top priority.
