Little pricey as we are in tourist hell. The food is like a good home cooked dish. Service is good. No complaints. Roast beef €14 and wild deer €17

Upon entry we were yelled at by the head waiter. Incredibly rude. Unfriendly to tourists. Don't give this restaurant your business. This was after touring the two castles all day we wanted some classic Bavarian food.

Good food, reasonable price and quick, friendly service. Had dinner inside and lunch the following day outside. No issues.

The food and the staff were amazing. Really proper and nice food and it is quite cheap if you have into account were is located. The staff was also really nice

I loved the restaurant. I've tried some of the neighboring restaurants, but I prefer Alpenstuben. The food is delicious. Loved their apple strudel. Their port knuckle is delicious. Staff is friendly and speak English. You can also try their hotdog stand if you do not have time to dine in.

We stopped for a coffee /tea because we arrived earlier than our scheduled visit to Neuschwainstein. Good service, nice stuff. The hotel is quite pricy, but the restaurant is OK

The restaurant is part of the Alpenstuben hotel. It is the best place to eat in town. Food is typically Bavarian and cooked to order. I recommend the Pig Knuckle or the Venison. The Pig Knuckle sounds odd. However, it is common in Germany and other parts of central Europe. The meat melts in your mouth and the portions are... More

We arrived mid morning and saw the castle right outside of our window. Staff was excellents and got tickets for both castles. I recommed at least 3 hours apart to get both castles in. You can do both easily in one day. A lot of walking though. Staff at this hotel was great. Food was amazing also

Good food and service. Clean place and accommodating to people with timed tickets for the castles. Recommend for lunch.

As there are only two dining options in town in the evening, choice is at best limited. This hotel restaurant is bright and airy, the staff charming (our waiter Marco was a dream) and the food reasonably priced and hearty. I couldn't really fault it.
