We visited Champor last week as a group of six. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very inviting, the owner came over and immediately provided us with recommendations and how the eat the food in a traditional way which was appreciated. We each tried a different dish and were all very happy with the food, all dishes from beef to... More

A nice restaurant in a not so crowded corner of Munich. Food is excellent, but a little bit adjusted to the German taste. We enjoyed a delicious appetizer (Spring role, Prawns) and very tasty duck and chicken dishes. The service is excellent, but the space is a little small and noisy if crowded. Come again

I ate at the restaurant last night with my wife. The food is realy great. Very tasty, exotic herbs and rather spicy. We loved it. The location between a supermarket, parkin lot and large flats is not creating a "super atmosphere" for me. Overall it's a restaurant I will for sure come back because of the outstanding food.

Hi Jurgen Good to know that you enjoyed our Food. Unfortunately, the building is not mine and I am not able to tear down all that is around me:( But we still love the area, and the life around it! Best Kiren More

My husband took me and a friend here for a dinner as we love malay food. We ordered a starter -champor's signature platter, the gem of which was the chicken satay with peanut sauce. The main for me was chicken curry Kapitan (Can't remember what our 2nd main was). The reviews did not let me down, food was delicious. Be... More

Hi KM Glad that you enjoyed the food with us at Champor! With regards to laksa, there are varities of laksa's which one are you talking about? We at Champor, unfortunately do not serve this as the ingredients are not available here in Munich. And my philosophy, only serve dishes when it comes close to 99% - 100% to the... More

What was supposed to be a business dinner ended up in a delightful sharing of delicious dishes well presented, greatly cooked and so rich in flavours. The staff was really helpful and made us feel very comfortable and despite the restaurant was full the atmosphere was relaxing and warm. Very reccommended!!

Since the restaurant is outside of the city center then we prefer to drive and there is plenty of parking along the street, and some even directly by the restaurant. The restaurant is cozy and on the small side, so a reservation is a good idea. The food is excellently prepared fresh and some dishes are very spicy. I could... More

Wonderful friendly restaurant a little out of town but easily found by catching U4 to Richard Strauss Plaza and then the bus to Wartherstrasse. Staff and wonderful and will help you choose dishes and they also have great little appetiser cocktails to sip while you choose your food. The place is very nice, a bit outside the city but totally worth it. Delicious menu, traditional drinks and beers. I loved the shrimp carpaccio and the chicken with ginger and shiitake. I fully recommend it. Enjoy!

Champor is the very first Malaysian dining in Germany. Based in Munich. Champor showcases the Malaysian home-style kitchen and the favourite street food, especially from Penang, my home.
We do not Europeanise or compromise our food in any way. When we say spicy , we mean it. For some it will be an adventure for the palate, and for some of you, you might have to get used to it first. Our service team mirrors the hospitality of Asians. Champor is cosy and is like a sitting room of a good friend. We look forward to having you with us.
