Visited this Cafe a couple of days ago with my husband after all the amazing reviews about their Black Forest Cake. It’s even been reviewed on the Foodnetwork channel by chefs and foodies. Walked the streets of Munich and found it easily. Unfortunately we were...More

One of the more popular cafes in Munich, I was able to come visit after my visiting the Pinakothek der Moderne. Great cakes, pastries and coffee.

We went to this place after reading some good reviews on it, we had some items from the menu and food wise it’s ok, but the omelet I had was a bit too dry and over cooked for me. The waitress was friendly and quite...More

A wonderful stop today for a light lunch. Excellent service, packed with locals and great cakes for dessert or for gifts.

I have the opportunity to eat twice at Cafe Luitpold. Both times proved to be very charming and both meals were delicious. The atmosphere represents the history of this location and cafe. There is a small museum upstairs, providing details of it's devastation and survival...More

Was here with my wife, the ambient looks great and the waiter was very nice. Food was definitively overrated and poor in quality. The trout tasted of nothing and the tapas were not great. Desert was awful (strudel in Bayern should not be that bad)...More

The restaurant is in a great location, beautiful venue and good service. I had the eggs benedict with salmon. I was very disapppointed. Cafe Luipold is a nice restaurant so expecting good food. The entire dish had been grilled so the “sauce” was browned. It...More

We stopped one evening for dessert and coffee, and then the next day for lunch. Service can be a little slow, but the food was very good as was the service (except for the issue with time - more noticeable perhaps to an American). The...More

Hello, We visited last week, on Saturday, for lunch. The weather being sunny we decided to sit outside. The waitress was nice, it was the best part of our lunch( except for the Hugo which was ok). We both had spaghetti with truffle, I added...More
