One can recognize the difference and its difficult to eat any other of the others out there! The texture, smell and taste are exceptional! One can see why there are lines outside the place so often!

The ice parlour is located in a back street from the Leopoldstrasse. All the 24 different flavours are organic, 10 of them vegan. The ice cream is tasting extremely good and so does the pizza and coffee. The best thing is that also in the winter months you can still get ice cream.

This is not the best ice cream I've ever had, but it is definitely great! I'm starting like this because I've read a number of "super-duper-fantastic" comments for Bartu, which are (to say the least) over the top. Probably because ice cream is generally... poor in Germany, who knows... In any case, Bartu is great, probably the best in Munich,... More

To put it simply, I wish I could have tried all of the flavours! I just visited here once, so I had to choose the New York Cheesecake and the Milk Chocolate! They were both phenomenal! Rich, creamy, not too much sweetness! The lady who served me was super nice and friendly. I loved it!

I am blown away! This place is worth the visit. Everything is made using organic, fresh ingredients and it shows. Their range of flavors is incredibly impressive! The lady behind the counter was very sweet and told me what each flavor was (that I couldn't understand). I even got to try quite a few. I wanted all of the flavors!... More

Well not a big fan of ice cream but their mango lassi flavour ice cream isn't bad... Plus the fact that it's on a quite street helps as you can sit out and also order some pizzas for a snake / overall a good experience

Just love this gelato shop - by far one of the best! Friendly, fresh and so delicious. The flavours are unique and change often. The Cassis is amazing and so is the salted caramel. Yum! Tucked away in a local Schwabing neighbourhood.. worth the short walk from the Leopoldstrasse.

Tucked away off the main thoroughfare this gem of a place is worth seeking out if you love ice cream. Favourites so far are New York Cheesecake, Gingerbread, Banana, and Coffee and I will be trying more before the week is out. Fabulous.

The ice cream here is some of the best. It is delicious and I would highly recommend the cheese cake or salted caramel.
