Really delicious food, very light and fresh, beautiful village like setting in a nice area. Quite expensive but it is Munich

We were wandering through the huge street festival in Munich and wanted somewhere a bit quieter to sit and eat with some shade and spotted Bar Giornale with lots of shady umbrellas. The waiting staff didn't speak any English but we were in an Italian...More
Had a lovely latte Miachotto and a few beers late afternoon outside as it was a beautiful day. Lots of people eating delicious cakes but when I asked for the menu the waiter said they only have a few and they had a gone!! Pity...More

With a delayed flight and an overrun business our client suggest Bar Giornale for a late lunch. Lucky us. It's not a flashy place but there is a comfortable patina to the interior that suggests it's been a staple of Munich's culinary life for some...More
From beginning to end we enjoyed the food, service and very friendly waitresses and waiters. Very nicely presented was the dinner. One eats with their eyes too. Note...quality has its price. But from the appetizer to the main dish...delicious.
We ate here 3 times on our stay, twice for breakfast and once for dinner. We were recognized and warmly welcomed back after our first visit. The food was wonderful on all 3 occasions. I would return here again and again.
