We tried the Pschorr for a quick bite. Knowing many alternatives we still gave it a chance. Yes - it is touristic but what to some authors expect on Viktualienmarkt ? Same for pricing - dont expect a bargain in the center of Munich. BUT I found the food and atmosphere ok. The prices were still acceptable and it was... More

We had to leave the Hofbrauhouse because of the behavior of the waiter and we found this other one. I think it´s a bit more expensive than the previous one and not so nice, but the food was excellent and the service great. Worth to go there.

DAMN - this food was good! All of it! Pork Knuckle! Sausage! Sauerkraut! So good. Maybe it was better cause we were starving, but hot damn and a half, I would go back for sure!

First time in a German bierhaus and was not disappointed. The decor and layout was amazing. The beer was delicious. One of the nicest beers I've had. Didn't have meal (only a pretzel which was great as well) but they looked really good.

Whilst in a good location and boasting a lovely interior, we were treated rudely by our waiter, who demanded a tip and when one was not forthcoming (if you have to ask for one you don't deserve it!!) proceeded to shout loudly and rudely at us across the restaurant. Too bad for them - we had only ordered drinks but... More

This is one of Germany's typical Bavarian eating places: a large hall crowded with many tables and hundreds of people. The noise is so loud, you can not hear the person you are speaking to or the waitress that takes your orders. On top of that, due to the mass of orders; the food was awful. Terrible experience.

We decided to go here just because it is a big place and it is easy to find a place even if the area is crowded. The dishes are typical German but average quality. The place is average and the service just ok.

I've been here a few times and it never fails to satisfy. But it is really just beer and Bavarian food, for tourists eg. Pork, schnitzel, sausages and potatoes. Having said that, if you love that type of food then this is a pretty good restaurant to experience just that. The beer is poured from a barrel that they store... More

I've been here a few times, thought I'd write a review. When possible, sit outside. The people watching is top notch. The beer is always fresh and tasty. Don't forget the pretzel! Close to the Viktualmarkt, so if you find yourself needing a spot to sit and enjoy a beer or two, you can't go wrong!
