My husband and I really enjoyed this quaint little dinning spot outside near the Platzl hotel. The server was very helpful and charming. The food was delicious. And it was a pleasant weather evening to sit and relax with a nice meal and people watch.

This restaurant is just opposite the Hofbräu House, so I think it must rely on the huge amount of passers-by rather than on a solid customer base. We found the waiting time for someone to take our order was unacceptable. The time it took for...More

Tried the tasting menu, which was excellent. Really nice traditional food (asparagus and venison) wonderfully cooked without being too heavy. The wine list was very extensive. The waitstaff were all very friendly and helpful. Really lovely meal!

We sat outside, which was nice to be out, but not such a nice outlook. The food was ok, but nothing to rave about. I thought it was a bit pricey but this is in the centre of Munich and is to be expected. At...More

This lovely restaurant on a quiet side street near the center is a cut above for Bavarian food. It is also somewhat more expensive but definitely worth it for what you get. The service was outstanding and genuinely friendly. The food was a bit of...More

Very nice setting outdoor and indoor. Most attentive staff, but perhaps a bit understaffed. Excellent food and beverages

Food look great, taste ok, maybe just me not a German food type of person. But can still give it a try as I think they server proper German food.

This restaurant is connected with the Platzl Hotel. The food is fresh, imaginative, and well presented -- a nice alternative to beer, sausages, dumplings, and sauerkraut. Service is outstanding. Try to get an outdoor table if weather permits; it's in a nice quiet square. But...More

Had an enjoyable dinner but found the service friendly though a bit baffling at times. The waiter was very busy to be fair. Had a very nice bottle of German sparkling (€38). The starters arrived very quickly, loved the smoked pumpkin soup. Then the main...More

Description
Enjoy the historic atmosphere of medieval Munich in one of the most beautiful locations in the historic city centre. In the lovingly restored vaults of the dukes mill dating back to 1573 we are offering upscale Bavarian cuisine and fine Franconian wines alongside famed and freshly brewed Ayinger draft beer from the families brewery. In the Pfistermuhle there are four vaults with more altogether 95 seats. Thirty additional seats are available in the beer garden in Summer.
