While on a recent visit to Nuremberg, Bohm’s Herrenkeller was recommended. Late one afternoon, although we didn’t have a booking, we took a chance and were offered the last available table. So glad we did! This lovely, small, cosy restaurant was most enjoyable. A good...More

Didn't even eat here, but felt compelled to write a review. It was dinner time and we had restaurant recommendations from our hotel. This was one of them--said that food was good and hearty. So we walked around the corner to this place and walked...More

This was a solid, traditional offering. Austere, but not unpleasant feeling to the dining area, and low-key but efficient enough service. We ordered frankisch specialities: good portions of pork (Schweineschaüfele) and wild boar, although the boar was a bit tough. Wonderful local dark beer, and...More

Staff is rude to non-German customers and the food takes 1.5h to come. Never coming back here again.

We were lucky to be able to make a reservation for 6 of us as the restaurant was busy. We had a really nice evening with delicious food and friendly service especially as our German is not great. Between us we tried bratwurst and wiener...More

Our experience was wonderful. Although booked initially by our hotel, we were made very welcome indeed. The hard working waitress had a huge party of 20+ arrive shortly after us, but we were in no hurry. Our drinks and mains were served very promptly. The...More

On our walking tour of Old Town Nuremberg, we stopped here for the local bratwurst. This is a smallish, deservedly well-rated restaurant. Service was efficient and friendly. Food was very good and filling. We were glad our research led us to this special find.

Very nice restaurant. Food is superb, service is friendly. Portions are not gigantic which is not typical for Germany and creates kind of gastronomic spirit. Prices are moderate. Highly recommended.

We didn't need to make a reservation as we went late afternoon. But as has been said, they are staff who speak good English, so a phone call should work.
