So just like any other tourist, the place looked nice and it had a balcony, rated well on trip advisor- we went in and they told us to sit anywhere we wanted and we did. Then I saw a lady with the traditional Nuremberg sandwich that was placed in a basket and she said well this is inside the resturant... More

The food was well prepared, but too little for the money. Definitely order enough side dishes if you're hungry. I ended up paying the bill and moving to another place for an extra dish.

Nice place to have a meal. Friendly and good service. Salad with chicken and Nuremberger sausages were excellent.

Lovely small place, where you can enjoy Bavarian style sausages and excellent wheat beer. You will not find here crowd, but only native Germans enjoying the meal. I am really glad that I found this place among kebabs, McDonalds, and modern restaurants.

This restaurant is situated just opposite City Hall, and is a long-standing institution. The best place to experience the Nuremberger Bratwurst in all its glory, with either sauerkraut or potato salad. People line up to be squeezed into small tables, and circle like vultures when you look as though you might be leaving. Just go for the experience!

We went for lunch in this restaurant. We ordered their sausages and they were very delicious. But the highlight of this restaurant was a very kind waitress. She did everything with smile, not with the 'professional' smile, but with friendly smile. Highly recommended!

Our tour leader brought our group of 18 to this restaurant for dinner tonight. Everyone in our group was very happy with the food. I thought the food was excellent. We started out with a mixed vegetable salad with a light vinaigrette. Then we had the small lean Nuremberg bratwurst that look like American sausage links. These were the best... More

Had a quick 45 minutes to eat lunch and had some wonderful Nuremberg sausages, sauerkraut, noodles and a cold draft dark beer. Simple food, well prepared and reasonably priced: it's a worthwhile bet when you're in town. Really enjoyed the quiet somewhat out of the way (away from the main street) location for outdoor dining.

I do not eat a lot of meat...and never sausage...but here I had two plates of delicious Nuremberger yummies. They are a must try in a great authentic setting near the main sites of the old city. The dunkel (dark) beer is great too. Highly recommend.
