We came here on a public holiday for breakfast with a big group of friends. Service was good and friendly. There is a large choice of "set breakfast"s. Everything looked and tasted delicious. The decor is quaint and done up in baroque style. I think this is a place to go to for a relaxed meal, not for anyone in... More

The menu is small but what they offer is very tasty. We had the specials, including the most delicious vegetable soup with homemade bread. Apple strudel also yum. Very helpful and charming staff.

Anton has a very small and cosy nation, where they serve breakfast on small tables. Its all very beautiful, the surrounding, the food, the dishes. Best place for honeymooners, i would imagine.

We stopped in Passau on the scenic river cruise. We opted out of the sound of music tour and decided to stay on the ship. This enabled us to visit the town of Passau where we found this gem of a cafe. My husband and I shared the most exquisite apple strudel ..I had a short black coffee and my... More

We had sought out to eat dinner there however, their menu was little bites ( sandwich, salad, five appetizers, dumplings in sauce, venison sausages, desserts, wines, coffees). We pondered whether to stay as we didn't think there would be enough food for a dinner. Much to our surprise , the dumplings were plentiful, the venison sausages with sauerkraut were more... More

I must say we didn't eat here, but our tour guide suggested it when we asked for a good cappuccino. I must say she was right. This was the best cappuccino I have ever had; so much so that I ordered a second one. if the food is as good as the coffee, you are in for a treat.

Headed to Anton on the basis of Trip Advisor reviews. We only had 45 minutes to eat before attending a concert at the Dom. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and got food to us very quickly. They have a small menu but we were very happy with the mixed plate of appetizers to share. The serving was so... More

At first we were slightly worried that the menu was limited - and not very Italian. But we had the spinach dough balls in tomato sauce and the goulash , followed by the Apfelstrudel and it was the best meal we have had so far this holiday. And the waitress was very helpful and sympathetic to our poor German (and... More
