We ate here for a late lunch. The food was very good. The price was not to bad. Service was excellent. I ordered schnitzel and my wife had pork and baked potato. More food than we could eat.

In Fussen We learned that most restaurants receive orders until 9 pm . (not in Ludwigs !!! ) Huge and delicious food portions ,good service (but not very warm , maybe because it was so late) .

We stopped in Fussen after a day at Neuschwanstein to discover the old town and visit St. Mang's Basilica. We were early for dinner, but that didn't stop Ludwig's from serving a delicious meal. The Jaegerschnitzel with spatzle were generous and chock full of fresh mushrooms. The pommes frites were tasty, and that large slice of strudel was a perfect... More

Nice sidewalk experience, but waiter was very rude, wouldn't split check and made us go inside and upstairs to pay. Food was average.

6 schnitzels costs us 124 Euro. The service was medium. The positive thing is that the dishes are big.

Enjoyed a great meal here recently. Tried the Pork Knuckle, huge and delicious. We also ordered baked potatoe with salad, also huge but delicious. Due to size of meal passed on dessert. Orders 2 black teas which took 15 minutes to come. When head waiter realised he delivered to us an apple struggle dessert on the house. It was no big deal... More

We spent the afternoon at Neuschwanstein and decided to eat here after seeing their fairly extensive menu. As others have mentioned, the portions are absolutely huge and really, if you don't feel like stuffing yourself and still have an unfinished plate, I think it's perfectly reasonable to share one main and side dish. Whilst the service was efficient, I didn't... More

We arrived in Fussen quite tired and jetlagged, and pretty much sat down at the first seating we found. I am so glad we did! The food was amazing and it was so charming to sit outside in such a lovely town and people watch. The server spoke English, but indulged my husbands desire to practice his German and was... More

My husband and I went there for lunch. I had a salad which was massive and really tasty. My partner had a vegetarian pasta dish and unlike a lot of places in fussen they had a good few veggie options. Generally very pleasant. Not amazing get but very nice for a quick lunch!

We chose to eat here because of the extensive menu and large children's menu. However, the service was stand offish and the adult food of low quality. My currywurst was cold, lacked flavour and the fries tasted excessively dry. The San Marco next door was far better
