We were staying at the hotel and thought the menu at the restaurant was too good to pass up. Interesting decor with real atmosphere. Food was outstanding and service was friendly and efficient. The chanterelle soup was exceptional.

We ate dinner at the hotel our first night in Rothenburg and were not disappointed! Traditional Bavarian/German meal with incredible dessert!

We stayed at the Klosterstuble Hotel and we saw many people at the restaurant so we decided to book the table for dinner. That was our wonderful dinner in Romantic Atmosphere, food very delicious and local beer unique taste. Highly Recommended If you want to come for dinner please booking table in advanced.

It was a typical European breakfast spread, which we have come to love over the years! Being Australian, its very different from what we have in restaurants, but the selection was vast, service was top notch and the décor is charming!! We even noticed a table of americans beside us getting bacon because they requested it! Extremely rare on a... More

This very small restaurant is inside a hotel off one of the main streets in Rothenburg. It is always full of people and with the cool weather outside it was almost impossible to withstand the heat inside, the thermostat was so high it was making people sick. However the food is delicious and service impeccable. No complaints other than the... More

We had a delicious dinner here one evening. All the food was tasty and reasonably priced. The apple strudel is the best we had in Germany--a must have!

Discovered this restaurant while looking for lunch. Sadly, when we walked in we were told that the kitchen had closed. Fortunately, the kitchen offered to serve us if we could "make do" with sausages and soups. Not only did the four of us "make do", we feasted on bratwursts, a fantastic carrot soup and a lovely mushroom soup. Of course,... More

Best and lightest potato dumplings on our trip (along with the pork medallions)! The sausages and sauerkraut were classic fare and also excellent, as was the service. At this time of year many places close mid-week, as does this one (Tuesday + Wednesday) so we were happy to catch it open.
