Stopped by for lunch. Outstanding liver dumpling soup, sauerbraten, potato cakes and pilsner draft beer. Without question, the best red cabbage I have ever had. Not cheap but, well worth it!!

We came here after a long frustrating search for a place to eat in the subuirbs, thinking it would be quicker after sitting in an almighty traffic jam. We were welcomed, sat down with a drink rapidly and our order came as quickly as it is possible to have, while being freshly cooked (Lake trout- delicious and a variety of... More

This was a real find. We managed to get a table in the outdoor courtyard area (as we eat a little later than the locals) and were so pleased that we had. It was a delightful setting with very attentive waiters. There were not many tourists but lots of locals - always a good sign. The food was typically German,... More

We were four people and had three different meals: roast meat with potato dumplings, meatballs with French fries and chantrelles with bread dumplings. The meals were tasty, the service was friendly and quick. The restaurant is definitely above average.

Try this place for local food & beer, its very good. We sat outside but inside is nice too. The staff are very friendly and will speak in English if required. They also have menus in English.

The food is average. It tastes like cafeteria food. They were very fast. The taste depends on what you are used to. We had english friends with us. They liked the food. The service was friendly and they are able to talk proper english.

Not very inspired food with the exception of a brilliant soup for starters, otherwise rather boring and uninteresting. Reasonably good service and they are friendly.

We ate lunch here after a tour of the palace. We had Franconian bratwurst which was good. It was served with delicious sauerkraut. We ended with Apple strudel which was very good. Service was slow, but it was enjoyable sitting outside and watching all the people.

Thank yodab
