Good for a couple of hours watching a game,I know they have happy hours so there are cheaper drinks to be had but over 4 euro`s for a bog standard draught beer can make an expensive evening

I just tried to buy a burger there. Everyone in the bar was eating something. When I talked to the waiter in a polite way "good evening, I would like to order..." she has interrupted my speaking and said in a very rude way "we are not serving foods, I am sorry" and didn't explain anything. Couldn't understand why they... More

Hi Renan, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review on Trip Advisor. Sorry to hear you felt our staff were not friendly in relaying that the kitchen had closed, we close the kitchen at 11pm every night. This is unusual in context of our normal feedback of guest experiences. We encourage our team to have genuine and... More

Nice hostel bar for a beer with friends if you are on the way. Probably not a place I would intentionally go, but still nice. Location is good, beer cheap, and you can also get some food.

I stayed in the hostel part for 4 nights. The bar/restaurant staff were excellent! Very friendly, very helpful. Even down to remembering what I was drinking on some pretty busy nights! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was excellent and it's a simple trip from Rosa-Luxemburg-Strasse to Alexanderplatz etc. Well worth a visit, and I will def go again soon!

Beers and cocktails, a lot of deals and happy hours and many screens that show all different sports. We haven't tried the food, but they offer the regular sports bar dishes: hamburgers, nachos and fries. It's often very busy because with young people since it's also a big youth hostel. We recommend checking out the stand-up comedy show Cosmic Comedy... More

Found this place online whilst trying to find a sports bar to show a football game. The bar staff were not confident of showing our game but managed to in the end. Plenty of television screens and an upstairs. Different games in different televisions. Drinks were spot on and the food was delicious. It would be worth going back just... More

My group and I had a supper the first night in the bar that consisted of a Currywurst and potatoes and I had a San Miguel beer. The food was really good and the beer was just okay, nothing special. On the second night I had a Belushi's classic cheese burger with crinkled fries, the burger was really tasty and... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
