This is a true story of surprise! One of the best dinners ever had in Germany! Perfekt Meat, especially the lamb (picture). Superb tuna and excellent service! A must go! Foodporn.

I was in town for a two week course and our whole group--18 of us--decided to try and dine together. We were a nice restaurant's worst nightmare. And yet, Tucholsky's accomodated us, including the largely non-German-speaking group, with ease and delight. They make a phenomenal...More

Had a Romantic Dinner (2 main Courses + 2 Espresso + 1 bottle of Red Wine = EUR 80). ~ Tiny Appetizer on the House. I particularly enjoyed the Service (super friendly and professional) and the Paintings on the Walls. Will definitely visit another time...More

They found us a table despite not having a reservation and were very friendly. The restaurant was full of young groups and had a great atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had gone looking for a traditional german menu and weren't disappointed. The poultry...More

Overpriced, understaffed with truly terrible service - the food moderately interesting if not to say boring. They literally bring nothing new to the table in that neighbourhood & if the world were a fair place they would deserve to go bankrupt. But the world isn't...More

Tucholsky's has enlivened Berlin cuisine and has transformed the genre from "same old Schnitzels" to imaginative fine dining. If you want an antidote to the usual tourist fare, this is is the restaurant for you.Cheap it isn't: expect to pay £100 for a 3 course meal plus...More

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum

city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The

A lot of restaurants in Germany are closed for Christmas. So I would check back early enough with this particular restaurant. With Berlin being a cosmopolitan city I would expect them to be open, though.
