This is really an Italian restaurant, with Italian personnel and good food. The pizza is good true Italian type, and the other dishes I saw looked authentic too. A sure signal of quality was that a number of Italian customers were dining there, and some of them were regulars and very friendly with the waiters.

Cosy atmosphere and excellent location from the Courtyard Marriott and Hotel Adina. The food was pretty average though - I don't recommend the Pizza Margarita to anyone. It was stodgy, heavy, chewy and had an excessive amount of cheese on it. Your stomach will be full after three mouthfuls. It wouldn't hurt the staff to be a bit friendly too.... More

Located close to Stadtmitte U-bahn station and Checkpoint Charlie. Excellent pizzas, friendly Italian staff and good value for money.

We visited here on several occasions as we were stopping at the Adina Apartments just along the street. The restaurant was outstanding both in the quality of food and the value. Whilst other restaurants seemed to be going for the tourist market this one seemed more popular with locals which is always a good sign. Highly recommended

So good, we went twice. Pizza was lush and pasta gorgeous. The staff were very friendly and made room for us even though we had no reservations. They made me an amazing cheese free pizza. A must if you are staying in Stadmitte, or anywhere near checkpoint Charlie.

Eating a German - Italian food while an Italian music is playing. The service is very nice. The Lasagna is recommended and the pizzas are delicious!

Service and food was good, and good value. Pizza wasn't spectacular but for the price was nice enough. I didn't have room for dessert but looked the a good choice, in fact the menu was pretty extensive.

Went after a wander up one of the main shopping streets in Berlin after a look at TA & we were not disappointed. The restaurant was probably half-full & the staff were attentive and professional. The food was very good for the price we paid (c.€20pp) I would recommend & return.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
