Came here for drinks because our hostel (baxpax) was nearby. Fun flavored drinks - lots to choose from and they were STRONG. Not sure how the food was, but the place was very busy.

The food is good. Don't expect gourmet, but much better than many other restaurants located in touristy locations - it is far more than decent, and we had nothing to really complain about it. They serve allot of cocktails, and most of them are quite good, for a very good price. The ambience is also nice, with well balanced lighting... More

The stuff is really friendly, the food came fast, it was tasty. Not very spicy so it is rather the European version of Mexican food, also good for people with weaker stomach. The fruit drink was amazing, I had an Energizer. The price is fair.

We came here as a last resort to escape the rain, the food is pretty bad and flavourless and clearly straight out of a microwave as it took less than a minute from ordering for our 'hot' starters to arrive. The staff are useless and were more interested in leaning against the bar on their mobiles then serving. We both... More

Being vegetarian, my husband and i found plenty of options on their menu. Food was tasty, and well presented. Cheerful service staff. Price was not too cheap though.

Went here as was close to our apartment and had great outdoor seating for people watching, and cheap cocktails! Turned out the food was really tasty, everyones dish looked great but the fajitas in particular were yummy. Huge portions too! The beers are huge and the cocktail list is extensive. Only negative was we asked for free tequila's with our... More

Food was great, lots of beverages and cocktails. Highly recommended. Been there with some work mates, ordered non-alcoholic cocktail and it was great that I have to double it. Portions are big enough for a hungry person. Spice level can be controlled. Music was suitable - not very high or very low.

The food is good and original. They have a big list of cocktails which were all good and not expensive.

They don't really have a fine mexican dining. But the food was very tasty. I recommend for fajitas and nachos. Nachos were a real nachos with a very thick cheesy chips. Totally worth the price. As well as the cocktails. They cost around 5Eur.

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
