I visited this restaurant for a fine dining experience since the main restaurant at my hotel was closed. Although the a la carte menu is very expensive the prix fixe menu is very reasonable, in my opinion. You have the option of ordering 3 courses for 49 euros or 5 courses for 69 euros. The food was excellent, very well... More

From the moment you arrive you feel welcome in the restaurant, the waiter was very helpful and explained the possibilities. I was alone. I took the menu he advised me to take the pairing wines with even to take the possibility off more luxury wines what I did. The sommelier gave a good explanation about every wine he served and... So great to see this restaurant climbing the scale. After amuse gueule 3 starters and a lobster bisque ( that lacked a little pep, I.e. More cream and a dash of cognac would not have gone amiss). A subtle curry and an amazing piece of loud de mer was perfectly matched by a creamy Chardonnay from France. The maitre and... More

I went here for lunch with friends, it was a great introduction to the restaurant. They offer a business lunch menu and a small a la carte at lunch. The food was delicious and the ladies that looked after us charming. The only negative was that a lot of items on the wine list (white Burgundy) were marked sold out.... More

This restaurant serves very good quality food and combines this with a very relaxing atmosphere. We took the five course diner with the wine arrangement. Nice variation of dishes with good accompanying wine served. We felt really like well treated guests.

Absolutely fantastic meal - great food, excellent ambiance and super service. I recommend asking what the 3 / 5 course tasting menu is for that evening - it changes each night and is a chef's selection of courses from the menu. The waitress was super at matching me a couple of glasses of wine to go with the dinner.

We visited on a Friday night in December with an hour's notice for booking. Throughout our stay, we could not work out how the waitress system worked. Guests arriving after us were miles ahead in ordering when we were still waiting for the menu. The food choices were classic as well as contemporary with amuse bouches etc in between. Everything... Description
Situated right along the Kudamm, the elegant, and at the same time casual, Restaurant Le Faubourg has the flair of culinary hot spots in Paris. Under the management of Chef de Cuisine Felix Mielke, the interpretation of French cuisine is a dominant theme. Beginning with "Starters to Share", guests can start off their meal together in a simple and unconventional way. The main dishes offer a choice between the traditional method of preparation and each modern interpretation of the meal. The focus here continues to be French cuisine with regional and seasonal products. The seasonally-adapted menu offers a constant variety of dishes for lunch that dovetail with the restaurant's new philosophy. Another highlight is the revised wine selection that complements Felix Mielke's creations. Originating above all from German and French wineries with small family operations.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
