Nice place for Indian food . Not very crowded but the staff was very prompt and understood our requirements.Very close to our hotel thus went there twice during our stay.

This place should not be even allowed to operate as an Indian restaurant. I have been living in Europe for the past 10 years and have travelled extensively and have hardly found something so bad. This one and the AMRIT in Oranienburger tor are in the same line both in terms of quality and price. Zero value for money.

Moderate place, cozy and quiet atmosphere, good but not the best yer enough to meet your Indian Cousins appetite. Portions are large, prices are ok.

Very disappointed with our visit to this Indian restaurant. Ordered a pre meal drink which had to be returned as it was both flat and warm. Both of our starters were rather poor, however when asked for our feedback following the starter the waiter staff member got very abrupt and insulting towards us, resulting in us leaving. Overall very bad... More

Our tradition is apparently to try an Indian restaurant wherever we travel.. Berlin was no exception. BOMBAY was nearest Indian on our way home so gave it a try. A big restaurant with two floors, fast service and good food! The menu was long, couldn't make up my mind but finally went for Malai Kofta, vegetable balls. My bf took... More

Nothing wrong with the food, it was even good. Only thing that i liked less was the waiter who pushed very much on a tip. Of course i will tip if i'm satified, but don't push me in this! Hopefully it was just this one time.

This place has a very low rating in Foursquare. I don't know why, really :) The food is fantastic, portions are huge, and everything is accompanied by big bowl of rice :) They even serve Masala tea. It has different name in menu, just ask personnel, they wil understand. Because it is low rated there are almost no people, so... More

I got into this restaurant as I was attracted by outside prices. However, as soon as I got menu, I noticied that all prices there were higher! To my complain the waiter said they have changed prices only 2 days ago and the listing outside will be changed shortly (usual excuse!). As I started discussing loudly so some other customers... We were just walking by and thought we were hungry. I had a vegetarian Bengan Bombay as recommended by the waiter which turned out just exceptional. My wife loved her Jhinga malai and my son enjoyed his Bombay Jhinga as well. My daughter had lamb hyderabadi she also loved even though thought it was a bit hot. Will definitely come... More

When traveling I always go for a curry, I went to the Bombay restaurant. it has nice decor and welcoming staff, quick service and great beer. The food itself was fresh and good quality, unfortunately the flavour wasn't for me, very mild. I appreciste it can't be the same where ever you go but I'll pass on this next time.... More

One of the best and biggest Indian restaurant we came across in Europe. Were so happy with the service that i am actually surprised not finding it on TripAdvisor. It's a must if one is looking for authentic Indian taste on not customized Indian taste to suit Europe market.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
