Excellent for breakfast, good value at 10.95 € for all you can eat buffet until 11.30. Was unsure how it worked to begin with, but all became clear at the till where we were given a wrist band which allowed us to go back to the buffet area time and again!

Visited it with my wife some days ago. We took hamburger with French fries, ribs with vegetables and some beer. Paid around 26 euro - it was fair price for fresh and tasty lunch. If you don't want only sausage at Alexanderplatz - it is you choice. Placed really well - fifth floor of Kaufhov Gallery.

We read about this cafe on tripadvisor so I we went. I had assorted items from the hot buffet, all very good. My sister had salad and my mom schnitzel and potatoes. All tasty and we spent about 35.00€ for lunch. Would recommend especially if you've got bakery fatigue as we do!

What a great arrangement - buffet style restaurant but when you get to the till they weigh what you have on your plate and charge accordingly. That stops people taking huge amounts. Food was very nice too - we went twice and would have returned on Sunday but the store wasn't open which was a shame.

Dinea is a very nice mid-range restaurant. I visit Berlin 2-3 times a year, and I always go to Dinea. Nice place, many types of food, everything is fine.

My husband and I were shopping in the Galeria and were hungry so we ended up in their café which is located on the top floor. They have a wide selection of food to choose from. There is something for everyone. I got a burger and potatoes and my husband got sausage and sauerkraut. Everything was great! The staff was... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
