We visited this restaurant twice and we were impressed by the quality of food and service. We were a group of four. We had 4 different pasta each time as starters and they were all cooked to perfection and very tasty but the pasta al Tartuffe and tortellini ossobuco were the best. Mains we had meat and fish dishes the... More

We went there on a Sunday night, it was pretty quiet at first but filled up after a while. The service was really good, very attentive and friendly! Atmosphere is nice, not very hip though, more classic. Music wasn't too loud, very relaxed. I ordered pasta (with lamb filet and truffled red wine sauce) and it was really good! My... More

Like you are eating in Italy. Very tasty pasta and apetizers. Whatever you will decide to eat it is very good with quite big portions. In addition with the whole atmosphere and the service it offers you will be more than satisfied. A must.

This is a typical Italian Trattoria. Sadly the menu is not available in English and the staff on the night we visited did not speak a lot of it.Never the less stick with it-the food is very tasty when it arrived .We both had plates of pasta with faccacia bread on the side.Very tasty and reasonably priced.

Went for pizzas and red wine. After some bread and mezze the pizzas arrived. They had a thin, light and fluffy dough which was very tasty. The wine by the carafe was fine and good value. Overall a very good experience.

I often visit Toscana. The location of this very authentic little restaurant is amazing! It is located in the heart of Prenzlauer berg. There is a great, indescribable atmosphere. Always amazing food and great service! Remember to book a table.

We ordered black pasta with shrimps and squid, mixed salad and pasta with salmon. All very tasty and we did not have to wait long for the dishes to be served. The bill was surprisingly low, service was quick and friendly. After we tipped the waiter, we were surprised with a glass of limoncello. Recommended.

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
