Group of 6 went in for a quick drink and ended up staying for about 4 hours. Atmosphere was good and as the day went on it became really lively. We had food which was well cooked and tasty although the menu was not extensive. Good selection of beer

Very pleasant inside. Decor old style German bar. Easy relaxed atmosphere. Food delicious. We sampled the Goulash Soup, Kartoffel Soup and Potato & ham omelette. Large portions. Happy and pleasant waitresses / bar staff. Thank you.

We got a shin and a schnitzel... the shin was all fat. The schnitzel very dry.. beer is German so difficult to be wrong with it. I would try other places.

Me and my partner popped in here to grab some lunch and ended up staying for a good few hours! We had currywurst which was delicious and the portions are huge. Massive selection of drinks which kept us going for a while! Would definitely come back here in the summer to make use of the outside area.

This place is usually packed in the warmer months however with temperatures low there were no takers for outside seats. The service was slow and when I approached the bar I was asked to sit and someone would be over. Drinks eventually ordered and delivered.

Never miss a chance to go to this pub during my trip to the city. Gives a very local feel although I am sure that this is a favourite with tourists too. Somehow, the `Schofferhofer' here tastes much better than anywhere else in the city.

The food was better on this visit and we called here due to location of our hotel and needing a quick feed. Serving staff are still not the friendliest but they get the job done. Good selection of some tasty beers. Recommend if passing.

Ordinary restaurant, huge, 24 hrs, with surprisingly good food, minimal atmosphere and inexpensive. Quick service, but you can lounge over beer or coffee.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
