There are many options for Middle Eastern food on this street. We tried the City Chicken one time and it was very good. Food is fresh and delicious. Service was also good.

I live 2 blocks away and eat here regurarly. The quality varies a bit but all-in-all this is my favorite rotisserie chicken in Berlin, possibly in the world. I don't love the other stuff that comes with the chicken, hence usually take only the chicken and bring it home.

Price is cheap for how much you get. Chicken taste great and the garlic sauce is the best. Best Chicken in Town.

This is how rotisserie chicken should be: crispy skin on the outside, moist & juicy meat on the inside. The staff are quick with the orders and it's a very clean establishment. Always got takeout, so can vouch for eating-in, other than to say it's clean! The fries are very delicious (sprinkled lightly with that spice powder). Fast, cheap, good.... More

Good food! Very reasonable rate. The Chicken Shwarma or Durum Kebab was really good and so was the drink Ayran. Would definitely eat here if I a in Berlin

If like me you are a fan of rotisserie chicken, then this place takes some beating. It's basically the same fayre as Hühnerhaus 36 in X-Berg, but you get nice pickled cabbage and humous on top. Also it's slightly cheaper too. Will definitely be going again!

Their hummus is very decent but there was nothing in the chicken or anything else that made me understand why everyone knows about and talks about this place, aside from the fact that it's open late and mildly better than most other things that are open late. Really bad unfriendly service as well!

The chicken was okay, But the better place on Sonnenallee (the same road) by far is Ris A which has very tasty chicken cooked over charcoal. Delicious and reasonable price.

I was just walking by and stopped because of the smell. I ordered big cup of noodles but then decided to sit inside. If you have any business after, I do not recommend eating inside because of strong oily smell which will follow you for the rest of the day. :-) The noodles were good and you also get 3... More

It is by far the best grilled chicken intown..!!ANd we tried several places already...but in the end we always had to conclude that CITY CHICKEN in the district Neukölln has the most delicous chicken menu ever. You get for 5 Euro a whole plate with the 1/2 chicken, salad, nice spicy fries and the delicious hummus...its a place worth to... More

Staying in Neukolln

Neighbourhood Profile
No Berlin neighbourhood is more popular with the young and jet-set crowd than the old worker's district of Neukölln. With so many Turkish settled here, the area became known as “Little Istanbul“. Today the percentage of foreigners is still high and visitors still frequent the Turkish shisha bars. In the daytime, they also visit the designer shops and sit by the canal in one of the street cafés up and down Westerstrasse or at Maybachufer, having a beer and waving to the sightseeing boats as they float by. But at night, Neukölln is dominated by increasingly young, alternative, and international crowds. This is particularly evident in the northern section of the district where there are many bars, funky clubs, galleries and restaurants. There, the night never seems to end.
