We were recommended this restaurant by staff in our hotel but were very disappointed. The service was bad with cutlery missing and when we asked for some it took a long time and was delivered with glares. Food was missing from original order and again this was met with rudeness and implications that we already had received the dishes. Food... More

Lovely restaurant, the service was brilliant, the food was lovely and came out very fast. The vegetarian options were very good! I would definitely recommend eating here.

I wouldn't say this is authentically Spanish but it was close. The food is well prepared. The tapas portions are small. Excellent wine choices.

i found this place while looking for somewhere to eat other than a Hotel Restaurant as I was travelling alone on business, wha t a delight. The food is excellent, I had Garlic Soup to start, and it came with a poached egg floating in it, which was delicious. I then had the Fillet of Pork with Bacon, this was... More

All our meals were good with the steak and chicken being excellent. The service was friendly and efficient with the surroundings being well maintained and nicely done. The menu is much more extensive than what was displayed outside. Good house wine and mojito's!

Went here late the first night we arrived in Berlin as it was just opposite our hotel and liked it so much we went a second time. It has a large dining and bar area but with candles on every table it was really cosy. The welcome we received was really warm and friendly. There is an extensive menu from... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
