We were going to the Blue Man Show at 9pm and were looking for somewhere close enough to walk from. The husband had found a couple of favourable reviews for Osteria Caruso and there free tables so we went in. Everything on the menu looked good but we both chose the specials. The husband had the calf's liver with pasta... More

Came to this place on recommendation from my daughter and her boyfriend and we were not disappointed. It's a lovely wee place and the staff were sooo friendly and welcoming. The food was awesome Bruschetta and Caprese for starters both amazing and Lasagne and seafood Risotto for mains that were so so good. All in all a great visit and... More

great wines, delicious food, nice restaurant in a location where you would not expect such a cosy place. we were there with friends prior to a concert in the Tempodrom like almost everybody else - the restaurant did not seem to be prepared for such a crowd of people. Other than that: definitely a good recommendation if you are around... More

Not great service when we entered, went up to the bar and got kind of nodded at to say someone else would seat us. The waiter was using Italian words, which I presume was for effect, but as my Italian is okay, and my German is woeful, I asked for a table in Italian.. but the rest was conducted in... More

We went there with a group of friends (10). The wine prices are excessive which is probably because of the proximity to Potsdamer Platz. The food was good, but not worth the money. The service was really slow, the waiter always forgot what we ordered and had to ask at least twice. We had a high bill, they didn't offer... More

beautiful, cosy restaurant with "vero italiano" cuisine. It surprised me a lot, when I entered the restaurant around 3PM, that on most of the tables were cards "reserviert", still a friendly waiter could offer us a cozy table. I want to stress atmosphere of this places, which is true italian! the personal speaks Italian as well and this adds some... More

My boyfriend and I had a shared starter - beef, veal and mozzarella. It was served in a surprising and inventive way - nothing like we've ever had before! We then both had pizza. Starter and main were excellent at a very reasonable price.

Came in at 7.30 pm. We were seated, order taken and drinks brought over. Well over an hour goes by before we are asked if we have eaten yet, they then realise there's a mistake and put the order through (many guests around us have eaten 2 courses by this point). It comes out around 9pm, there is a hair... More

Nice place, excellent genuine Italian cuisine! I would recommend booking a table in advance, this place is pretty busy.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
