We both had the vegan doner kebab in pitta with chips and it was delicious! Huge potions and great value. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

I have only ever eaten vegan doner kebabs, and had high expectations for this place. Was a little out of our way as we were staying quite far west, but well worth the trip! Portions are as big as my head (literally). Got the special chips (fries with 'cheese' sauce and onions' and doner kebab with herb sauce and salad.... More

Super big sandwich with lots of veggie and amazing sauces. The taste of all together is just amazing. The place is little bit "underground" but you must try!

A small but cute café, conveniently located just by the Neue Bahnhofstr. M21 tram stop. They have a small menu, including currywurst (highly recommended), kebabs, nuggets & fries, all vegan & all prepared freshly in the small kitchen behind the till. When we visited, there was just one member of staff taking orders, preparing the food & dealing with payments,... More

I tried the vöner in pita bread and it was ok. Nothing spectacular compared to other vegan kebabs/döner I tried but decent for sure. The restaurant is quite small with just a few tables which I think you have to bare in mind when planning a visit. It can be crowded.

I only had chips and salad which were great but next time I'm in Berlin I'd like to try more. The staff were ok, although they shout out the ready orders in German even though most people there were only speaking English. The languages are similar which is not a problem when you're paying attention but it's just a small... More

Simply put: holy (lack of) cow. The vegan döner this place serves is worth dying for. If vegan food like this was easily accessible everywhere, I wouldn't miss meat for a split second.

i do not understand why this place has "gluten free options" in the listings, because literally nothing is gluten free. i ordered chips, after being told they were GF. then i saw them drop a seitan burger in the same fryer. seitan is pure gluten and i would have been SO SICK had i ate something fried in the same... We stopped here for lunch on a scorching summer day and each had a voner sandwich with chips and salad... Delicious! Vegan friendly and well worth the money!

We enjoyed 2 different vegan plates and both were excellent. Staff were friendly and quick to serve food.

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighbourhood Profile
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
