We went there as we saw that the restaurant was well rated but got disappointed by the food (not bad but not good - definitely not the best Greek restaurant in town). Though their service is great with many shots of ouzo offered by the house. We will not go back.

Expect a fast-paced, high energy atmosphere with servers at your table constantly refilling the free ouzo and bread. Big portions with leftovers to take home, fun and sophisticated atmosphere, great service. If you have €15.50 to spend on dinner, spend it here for a fulfilling experience!

Been in a lot of Greek restaurants the last years. But this one is just the best. Food top, drinks top (all you can drink ouzo), service perfect... went there for business dinner and will come back for sure

Great atmosphere. As a previous diner said the Ouzo certainly flows.Food was very good and drinks even though my beer ended up on the floor😁. Staff great. Thanks will be back.

My overall rating may have been influenced by the free ouzo, but I believe it is recognition of what was a real treat whilst staying the weekend in Berlin. As a regular visitor to Cyprus I am very used to good quality mousaka, but the Astia's mousaka was really special. We were very fortunate to get a table on Saturday... More

Good portions at reasonable prices. A friend said it would be slightly more expensive than the average. But then we got a free Ouzo. And a second and a third. Then three times free fruit and Greek yogurt. When paying free espresso and brandy. Filled, full and happy, we left the restaurant. We will come back.

As others have mentioned, the portions here are huge! We started with the halloumi and grilled vegetables, which was fantastic. My kids also had the garlic bread and tzatziki. For dinner I had calamari and lamb. The seasonings were delicious. My family had salmon steaks, as well as the spaghetti with cream sauce. Everything was amazing. We hadn't eaten in... More

This restaurant is a must go! The place is very lively, big and crowded. We were lucky to get a table without reservation on a Friday night. Get ready for a food challenge. The food is good but there's a lot of it. Most people went out with a takeaway box. We also couldn't finish our mixed grilled meat platter... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
