Great bar good vibes very chilled. Not too expensive, very good prices for spirits. Staff are very friendly.

Visited the bar with a group of friends the first time and alone the second. Both times we mixed both with locals and tourists there. The people are relaxed and its easy to start a conversation. A plus is the dedicated smoking area the bar is providing.

We went here for a quick drink and there were no drink menus to be found, we asked someone for one, took him 5 minutes to bring it to us. We then waited to be served because we could see other people being served at their table, 20 minutes pass and we gave up and ordered at the bar. Took... More

Went here with a friend, and this place was like the old cafe with appropriate seating large enough as if you are in a lounge. It had good music and cocktails which we really enjoyed. Would recommend if you are around this area in the evening. We didn't have live music experience, which supposedly is good as well.

If you like good beer and hipster decor then this is for you. Quirky and alternative features, with almost bandstand seating at the back. This end of Berlin is a break from tradition and mainstream. Nice place to have a break from the sights of berlin.

We went in to have a drink and chat, it was fairly quiet which suited us fine, friendly bar staff. Great use of old furniture. Would imagine weekends to be quite hectic

I passed a couple of hours with friends in this vintage bar. They have sofas in 70's style and offer dribk. A lot of people are chattering. Very nice.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
