Went into Morelos for a lunchtime beer, what a lovely welcome and a lovely beer, bearing in mind we had only. arrived at our local hotel only 1 hour earlier and. We don't speak German 😒 What a lovely waitress we had. We looked at the menu and the waitress told us about the steaks. We returned that evening and... More

Came across by chance and it was lovely. Had the tacos and they were fantastic and reasonably priced. Lovely place if you are in the area.

What I loved about this place was the interior decoration – the walls are painted with Mexican historical events and characters and the food is very very good, the price is OK. The staff is nice. Side note: definitely go to the bathroom and see the water tap! :) I've never been to a Mexican restaurant before, so I cannot... More

We had a platter of cheesy veg nachos with dips to share while we waited for our chicken and beef burritos, chicken fajita and sirloin steak with baked potato and salad. Delicious. The steak from Argentina was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!!

A really enjoyable meal and experience with food ranging from Mexican to traditional steak. The service was excellent and the food was very good at very competitive prices. Highly recommended.

Extremely disappointed with this bar. Average cocktails can't complain, but after only 3 drinks we were told we weren't allowed a fourth because we were too young. My boyfriend and I were on a quiet holiday, we weren't making any noise or scenes in the place and to be told if we were 24 it would be fine and to... More

More tex mex than authentic Mexican, food tasted good, decor funky, and service very good...decent value for money, but I've had much better Mexican food in other places. It was over the road from our hotel hence why we went, probably wouldn't visit again on our next Berlin trip, but it suited our purpose after a long day walking around... More

The food was great and it was good value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful. Interior could do with some freshening up, but is is OK. We enjoyed ourselves with a very nice Mexican meal.

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
