My husband and I are Italian food addicts. I've tasted so many different pastas in and out of Italy and we have to say, Mama Monti is the place... they have really FRESH food! Our beef carpaccio was so fresh and to the point! Tagliatelle was done just right (al dente)!!! Not to mention the sauce!!! So YUMMY!! Servers are... More

I really wanted to like this place, but I think they were having an off night. We sat down around 20:30, didn't get our menus until 20:55, didn't take our order until 21:10. The waiter also had to ask more than once what we ordered and forgot our water. When we finally got our food - about 21:45 - it... More

An Italian restaurant that doesn't serve pizza. That's quite rare :-) We got pasta courses. Tasted good and served it's purpose. Average taste, but very fair prices. Good service in a nice neighbourhood. They do not accept credit cards, so remember cash. Nice place, worth a visit

Both the food and service in this restaurant was fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful with recommending a wine to complement the tasty food

This is just a small restaurant and you would probably just walk past it if you didn't know it was open for business. My daughter is vegetarian and the restaurant was recommended by the hotel. It caters for vegans too. There were a lot of options and the food was really nice. Simple, and simply presented but very nice. It's... More

Nice Italian Restaurant in the Savignyplatz area. All the sidewalk tables were taken, so we ate inside. Its a family owned place, since the staff all spoke Italian (as well as German and English).

Mamma Monti is a very small restaurant on the pleasant Carmerstrasse, only a few steps from the famuos Ku´damm. Almost everything was brilliant - the food, the wine and the setting. We took antipasti misti as a starter and recieved one beautifully arranged plate with food just perfect for two people to share. After that one of us ordered saltimbocca... More

This was such a great experience. I don't like what I think of as German food, beer and brats, so it was wonderful when we decided to try this small Italian restaurant. The food was remarkably fresh and authentic to Italy. The portion were generous and the menu was an inventive interpretation of Italian standards. The vibe was also welcoming... More

This is a super little restaurant with excellent food - fresh and well cooked. My husband was able to eat a tasty meat dish and my vegetarian pasta was delicious as was our salad and dessert. The atmosphere was super and the chef and waiter were extremely friendly and pleasant. We would definitely recommend this restaurant - it was a... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
