Vanille & Marille simply serves the best icecream from traditional vanilla and chocolate to very special blends like walnutt and fig (my personal favorite!)

This is a good ice cream, worth to stand in the line for it. They have a nice variety of tastes. Enjoy.

Staff was really nice! I was not sure what flavour to choose and they offered me to taste two of them! Finally I ordered the strawberry one and the salted caramel! Both really tasty! One of the best ice cream I have ever tried!!!

Cute little ice cream shop in the Kreuzberg part of Berlin offering a variety of flavors -- some better than others. We tried the special of the month, Havanna Mohn, which was a bit oddly flavored and the Belgische Edelschokolade, a dark, rich, chocolate. We did not think it badly priced at 1.30 Euros per scoop (and an addition 0.30... More

Very good "Pistacchio", but "vanilla" was too frozen, not really creamy and with boring big ice crystals, that means was not properly made. However Vanille & Marille is a place in Berlin where you can find good home-made ice creams (you just need a bit of luck to choose the right flavour)

We're been buying our favorite summer treat here for the last 4 years. The ice cream and sorbets are so good that we rarely eat them anywhere else. And when we do, we are often disappointed. The ingredients are sourced whenever possible locally, though for certain flavors like mango and blackberries, they obtain them from as far afield as India... More

A very cute ice cream shop in a nice location of Kreuzberg- near to several other cafe's and shops, as well as Viktoriapark. They have an interesting variety of flavours as well as different sorbets. I think you do pay for the 'cutesy' vibe and the pretty cups, but there aren't too many other take-away ice cream places in the... More

My boyfriend and I discovered this place aimlessly walking through Potsdam on a recent trip. As there were no signs on the outside to indicate otherwise I assumed that there would not be anything vegan friendly on the menu, so my boyfriend went in alone to get an ice cream for himself but soon came back out to tell me... Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
