Amazing bakery house to take the breakfast. You have a very good selection of different types of breads and cakes and drinks for your breakfast. You must try the house famous cinnamon "Zint-Sdinedke". Delicious!!!

Perfect crunchy bread! They have toasts but i think it would be better if they had warmed it up. Crunchy breads are really good Sweets are too sweet for me but people like it. If they haf put cheese inside the wallnut bread, it would be heaven:) I guess i will buy some bread and take it back to my... More

I saw a lot of reviews regarding this place so I decide to pass by it for breakfast before leaving Berlin. I ordered a Chocolate roll which was freshly baked & really it was the best roll I have tried in my life. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Had breakfast here twice. All the food was amazing, including the quiche, the sandwiches and the pastries. Better than any bakery I have ever experienced in the UK. 5 stars!

This place might just do the best cinnamon rolls ever. Stayed nearby for a few days in Berlin and so tried a good selection. Soft dough, really good flavour, and some unusual twists on the classic too. Delicious. Coffee was also very good, staff really friendly and helpful and chatty. I want to go back!

A calm mixture of good sandwiches, affordable coffee and smiling staff. It can get quite crowded but the cosy atmosphere is kept. We reccomend the Vollkorn sandwiches and apple strudel. Was so good we came back again the morning after!

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
