My understanding is that this area is where the Gestapo and SS had their HQ. It felt strange sitting at the cafe and conjuring up images of that time. However, the location is pleasant, the staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable.

If they didn't have the flowers it'd be an average cafe. Coffee and cakes are nothing special, service is a little slow. But nice atmosphere, of course.
