Very poor service, although food can be quite good. Staff keeps forgetting orders or just fail to deliver them (waiting for my tea for over 10 minutes, and didn't even get an apology for that). Person behind the counter almost asked me to go and bring change to pay for my bill, not wanting to exchange 50Euros.

Went for breakfast as a big group. Service was a bit slow at times and we had to prompt to have a few things but we were in a group all ordered separately and in English so could easily have caused the confusion ourselves. The croissants were fresh and warm and really buttery. Served with ample Nutella and jam. Hot... More

We had the French and German breakfast dishes, both were good value for the price. We will go there again, as our hotel was right across the street, and for almost half the price you get a similar breakfast than inside the hotel. Nice atmosphere, kind personnel, many different breakfast choices (French, German, English)

We were staying in a hotel nearby but didn't want to fall into the usual buffet breakfast trap, found cappuccino on the net. Friendly staff and service, good prices too. German breakfast is lovely and huge, "Big" breakfast would feed a family of 4!

I stayed in Berlin at the Wallstreet Park Plaza around the corner and stumbled across this cute pink cafe for breakfast every morning. The first time we visited we shared the German sharer - a huge plate of meats and cheeses, another of yoghurt, honey, sour cream and Nutella along with a large bowl of fresh bread. The second day... I sometimes think being English Is a disadvantage and then other times it can be a bonus. This time it was definitely a disadvantage, the staff favoured local diners opposed to us and what should of been a nice spot of lunch turned into a example of discrimination. Shame is that the food was alright however the attitude of the... More

Came here with my partner and 3 year old daughter for breakfast and we were nit disappointed. Food was fresh and most were healthy options which I like. The staff at Cappuccino were friendly and welcoming. The portion sizes were quite large and the price was very reasonable! I would definetly return.

Thank kerriQuinn

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
