As this cafe was located across from where we were staying we used it a few times for coffee and light snacks. On each visit the service was terrific.

An excellent range of breakfast items with superb coffee. Much better food, service and price than the Kempinsky

We are already sitting for an hour and commanded our food 45 minutes ago. Yes, there is live music but, if you have all tables booked and more people coming, you engage more people in the kitchen. We are about to leave. Never coming back again.

This is a charming place just off the busy Ku'damm. Fed up with the high priced breakfasts in my hotel, I tried Mila and what a great surprise. The food is high quality and well prepared. Service is very friendly and there is no better place to start (or finish) the day. This is a gem as it serves excellent... More

This is a nice neighborhood place with English-speaking waiters and good, freshly-prepared food. All organic, with several vegetarian quiches, pasta & lasagna and salads to choose from. The pastries are truly gorgeous, with cheesecakes, apple strudel, Linzer and Sacher tortes, and Black Forest Cake. Live music offered at breakfast and evening; it's nice and quiet during the day. Dog friendly!... More

This is a really great place to grab brunch. The live music is a truly wonderful bonus. The food is all organic, which is awesome given the price. There's a wide variety of breads, cheeses, meats, fruits and hot dishes. The croissants were amazing. The coffee, on the other hand, was very disappointing. For a coffeehouse, I was hoping for... The area around the Savignyplatz in Charlottenburg in Berlin is as urbane and civilised as it gets, without any pretense or artifice, and the Koffeehaus Mila fits well. Their brochure says they want to keep up with the tradition of a Berlin coffeehouse that is more than a place to gulp a drink or a sandwich, and they do deliver.... More

We ate breakfast here on five mornings while staying at Heckers Hotel across the road. There is a good selection, reasonably priced (the hotel breakfast was way too expensive), and found the waiting staff both friendly and efficient; at no time did we find them slow. I wouldn't make a special trip here, although they do have live music in... More

Came for breakfast. Place looks nice and neat and is very spacey with sunny terraces both on the street and garden. Had high expectations. The waiter kept us waiting for 25min just to make the order and another 25 to get some breads, ham & coffee on the table. Didnt expect to spend more than an hour for a breakfast.... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
